Privatization and Investment Program Meetings


1- The First Meetings of the Privatization and Investment Program Members

Under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the University, the first meeting of the Privatization and Investment Program was held on May 30th, 2022 AD

His Excellency the President of the University, spoke about the idea of this program and what is expected out of it in achieving the goals of the financial sustainability plan in the University.

Then, the Vice Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Amin Noman, spoke about the new University System.

Then, the Vice President for Business and Knowledge Deposit, Prof. Dr. Tawfiq bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Khayal, spoke about the financial regulations, especially the items related to the University’s resources and ways of developing them.

Then, the supervisor of the Office of Financial Sustainability Achievement Prof. Dr. Essam bin Yahya Al-Filali spoke about the financial sustainability plan with its eight axes (teaching and learning - research and development - community development - facilities and infrastructure - services health - strategic projects - human capital - endowments and donations) as well as reviewed its objectives and initiatives.

Interventions were also made by their Excellencies, male and female participants.

Among them are His Excellency Dr. Osama Tayeb and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Walid Abu Al-Faraj and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Naqadi, all of whom emphasized the importance of speeding up the start and implementation of the plan's initiatives, the importance of seizing current opportunities, and unlimited support from the state, whether financial or regulatory, to stimulate the investment environment.

At the end, and closing of the meeting, His Excellency, the University President honored the members of the scientific team that participated in formulating the University's Financial Sustainability Plan.
